Remembary

Remembary?
If you want to get things off your chest, some say it’s a good idea to put your thoughts down on paper, as in use a diary and write down anything you want in it. You can go about it the traditional way or the digital way.
When I say the traditional way I mean you can go get a traditional diary or journal, one made of paper – just like grandma used to have. Then you can go get a pen and start writing in it. It’s not the most high-tech way to go about it, but it is an option. An option I am not particularly fond of, not when you have great alternatives instead.
One problem I have with traditional diaries is that I would actually have to write – I’ve been typing for so long that I’m not particularly enthusiastic about having to write. Another problem would be the fact that traditional diaries offer limited functionality – you’re limited to what you can write down and perhaps pasting some pics in there if you want to.
As I’ve mentioned above, there are great alternatives out there, and one of them is the Shindig Digital Constructions-developed iPad app Remembary. It is a good looking, user friendly virtual diary you can use on your iPad. It comes with the following handy features:
- Write down your thoughts, make notes, just like you would in a traditional diary, just that you don’t have to actually write.
- The app can automatically fetch Facebook statuses and tweets. It can also keep track of up to 5 RSS feeds.
- You can easily navigate through your diary entries and you can search through diary entries, tweets and RSS entries.
- Customize the way the Remembary diary looks by using several artist-designed themes.
- Customize the way the fonts look by using various font styles and sizes.
- If you want to, you can export your diary entries to a text file which you can print, or store on your computer for backup purposes.
- You can keep prying eyes from taking a sneak peak at your diary entries by password protecting Remembary. This way, you and you alone have access to the diary.
No matter how I look at it, I always come up with the same conclusion: Remembary is far superior to a traditional diary app. It is a properly good, feature rich, and easy to use digital diary and I encourage you to try it out.

- Easy to use
- Automatically fetched Facebook statuses and tweets
- Bulk download past tweets
